One Piece returns to readers, everyone is giddy

Not normally what I post about but it's no secret among fans that I'm a big fan of the manga One Piece. It's also no secret that the manga went on a 4-week break recently, partly so the author could get some rest but also due to the story moving into its 2nd stage, often referred to as The New World (Shin Sekai for the dedicated folks).

The manga returns this week and spoilers have popped up around the internet. I wont go crazy here but you should be able to see below how the crew are looking after a 2-year break in the storyline:

Looking god Strawhat Pirates. Here's to the author and illustrator Eiichiro Oda giving us readers many more interesting stories, adventure, characters and fighting for the next few years to come.

Going to Basingstoke, gonna have a good time

So I'm going to see a friend I haven't seen for a while in Basingstoke this weekend which should be fun as he tends to get a stack of game promos through the work that he does. May get to try out some of the newer releases first-hand and see if there is anything worth picking up in the next few months.

I might also be fortunate enough to go to Eurogamer Expo although I hear that tickets have already sold out for the event. Oh well, if I go I'll be sure to do a write-up on this here blog.

Will keep you posted.

UPDATE: Looks like the price has gone back up unfortunately.

On the upside, looks like you can pick up Blazblue: Calamity Trigger for cheap in their Monday deal of the day if you're quick for no more than £10.00.

Most certainly a bargain given the quality of the title, a genuine breath of frash air to the fighting genre.
